California Attorney Announces Medical Marijuana Inspection Program

Certifies medical marijuana growers as compliant with the strictest standards

California medical cannabis compliance lawyer Chris Van Hook is proud to announce Best Practices Certified, an independent third-party verification program that assures medical cannabis bearing its label is grown with limited use of synthetic chemical fertilizers and in compliance with strict quality control and legal practice standards. The certification program ensures growers’ full legal compliance with local and California medical marijuana standards, a review of the manner in which the medicine is grown, and a standard agricultural crop inspection. Founder Chris Van Hook modeled the Best Practices Certified program on his slightly more rigorous Clean Green Certified inspection program, which does not allow the use of any synthetic fertilizers or chemicals. “Some farmers feel the use of synthetic fertilizer is essential to their growing process, but want to let consumers know that they’re being used responsibly, with only the minimum amount of chemicals necessary to grow the plants successfully,” said Van Hook. “They also deserve recognition for the other aspects of their business, such as full compliance with local laws and maintaining a clean facility.”
