Columbia County Oregon Marijuana Dispensary Will Not Reopen

Staypuff Organics’ owners have no plans on reopening what was the only legal marijuana dispensary for Columbia County of Oregon.

Staypuff Organics’ owners have no plans on reopening what was Columbia County’s only medical legal marijuana dispensary. Co-owner Ryan Neveau, 23, says he won’t open another dispensary until rules regarding medical marijuana are made less hazy. “I’m not going to open another one for it to close again,” said Neveau, adding that owners invested about $20,000 on cameras, safes, display cases and other equipment for the dispensary. Dispensary owners made the decision to close after three months of operation when they received a letter from the U.S. Attorney General’s office threatening seizure of inventory and prosecution. According to Neveau, Staypuff had about 200 members when the shop was shuttered in July.
